- The paper industry produces anually three times more CO2 emissions than aviation?
- Air is polluted less by 74% and water by 35% when paper is manufactured from recycled fibers opposed to from wood.
- Approximately 93% of paper now comes from wood, only 7% from recycled fibers.
- One sheet of paper can contain wooden fibers from hundreds of different trees, traveling thousands of kilometers before reaching the customer.
What can you do:
- Use electronic advertisement of your conference and online sign up of participants.
- Limit printing of conference material.
- Use double-sided printing on recycled paper.
- Get feedback from participants electronically.
- Instead of flipchart use whiteboard (you can rent it from us for free)
